Welcome to the PlayJoy community help and frequently asked questions page.

Some features are only available in the PlayJoy app.

Games

Playing on PlayJoy is very simple.

  1. Install the app on your cell phone or visit playjoy.com/app
  2. Sign up.
  3. Choose the classic game you prefer.
  4. Press the Play button to find players and start the game.

Most games have a tutorial and you can check out the rules from the main screen of each game.

Play and win games to score points and move up in the rankings of a game. The ranking restarts every month.

Each game has a different scoring system. Check out their rules for more information.

You can access the ranking of a game from its main screen (where the Play button is located). Visit your profile or another player's profile to check your score.

To invite someone to play, choose a game and press the Invite to play button

  1. Select the chat channels and people you want.
  2. Tap the Invite button
  3. Players who accept your invitation will automatically enter the game lobby.
  4. Press the Play button to find players and start the game.

The Invite more button allows you to invite other people via Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, etc. When someone accepts your invitation, it will automatically appear in the Chat tab .

Challenges are missions that players can complete while playing and gain experience xp and coins .

Challenges can be daily or weekly. They are renewed at 6:00 GMT every day or every week if they are complete or have expired.

Click on the Challenges tab in the bottom menu to see all available challenges.

Several games like Dominoes or Uno classic are played in pairs because we believe it's more fun to play as a team and you have a better chance of winning.

The game modes are selected according to their popularity and the duration of the games.

However, if you would like to play a different game mode, please send a message to Maria PlayJoy so she can write down your suggestions.

No. Never. No way. The aim of PlayJoy is that people compete, have fun and have a good time. We have no interest in rigging the games.

We neither favor nor harm any player. “Luck” is still “luck” even when it comes to digital games.

We try that all games are played with people. If a player loses connection or is called by phone, a bot will replace him/her in order not to block the game.

  • Bots have no control over the dice or the card dealing.
  • People usually play better and have a higher win rate than bots.

Coins

The coins are used to play PlayJoy games and win better rewards. With coins, you increase your player experience, demonstrate your skills and level up faster.

Very soon, you will also be able to get incredible articles and many other things.

How can I get coins?

You can get coins in the following ways:

  • Play every day to get free coins
  • Join the Club and enjoy exclusive benefits such as free coins every month
  • Beat other players
  • Complete challenges
  • Invite friends
  • Follow us on the social networks (Instagram, Facebook...) and participate in the contests.

If you run out of coins, you can buy as many as you need in our store.

* The daily free coins is limited to one person, connection and device at once.

All players have their own code that they can share with their friends and win free coins.

To share your code:

  1. Open the side menu by tapping on your photo in the top bar.
  2. Invite friends

Share your code with as many people as you want. The more people, the more coins you can get.

  • Only new players can redeem the code .
  • Only one code can be used per player.
  • The new player must reach level 5 so that both players receive their reward.

The game ticket is the amount of coins you want to play in a game.

To change the ticket amount:

  1. Tap on the game you want to play.
  2. Tap the + button in the rewards box.
  3. Modify the amount of the ticket. The rewards will change according to the value of the ticket.
  4. Once selected, tap x to close it.

The codes give you access to special promotions, discounts and offers.

To redeem a promotional code:

  1. Open the side menu by tapping on your photo in the top bar.
  2. Redeem code

When you make a purchase on Google Play, we'll receive a confirmation email with your order information to the Google Account you use when making your purchase. The order number starts with GPA followed by several numbers: GPA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

You can always see your order history on Google Play or payments.google.com.

You can cancel your Club membership at any time and you will continue to enjoy its benefits until your renewal date.

  1. Open the Google Play app
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptionsSubscriptions.
  4. Tap the subscription that you want to manage.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

iPhone/iPad

  1. Open the Settings app on your device.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Tap the subscription that you want to manage.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Others

If you joined the Club through another service, for example a mobile phone operator, log in to your customer account for that service to manage your subscriptions:

  1. Open the side menu by tapping on your photo in the top bar.
  2. Settings
  3. Tap Manage Club subscription

Community

The are only 2 simple rules on this community:

  1. Respect the others. That includes the rules about the photos and the rules on the chat.
  2. Be fair. Everyone hates the cheaters and we apply severe penalizations.

About the chat

Some kinds of behaviour on chat are considered inappropriate and can be subjected to be warned by a moderator:

  • Insult, harrass, or use obscene language.
  • Write the same message repeatedly (flood)
  • Spam
  • Type everything in capital letters

About the photos

Do not use or share photos that contain:

  • Nakedness or pornography.
  • Offensive or obscene gestures or language.
  • Explicit violence.
  • Political or religious symbols.
  • Vulgar contents or that disrespect other players.
  • Xenophobia, racism or lack of respect to a group or nacionality.

Never respond to provocation. If someone insults or bothers you, the best option is to report it and block it. To report or block a player:

  1. Open a player profile or a private chat with him/her
  2. Click on the 3-point menu on the top bar
  3. Report / Block

Review the Chat Settings and select the privacy options you think appropriate. You can access the application Settings from the side menu.

The reports in PlayJoy are totally anonymous. The reports help us to moderate the channels and create a better community.

Tap the Friends tab in the bottom menu to see the friends who are online, review pending friend requests or add more friends.

You can add someone to your “list of friends” in several ways:

  • Click on the 3-point menu in a player's profile or in a private chat.
  • If you know the player's name (“nick”), you can enter it in the section Add friends.
  • You can send a friend request via Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, etc. in the Add friends section.

If the person you added accepts to be your friend, he or she will automatically appear on your list of friends.

On the other hand, if you reject a player’s friendship or remove him/her from your list of friends, you will not receive more notifications from that person. To become friends once more, you must add him/her as friend again.

To view your Profile , tap on your photo in the top bar of the screen.

Your profile is public. Any one can see your player profile. They are thought to make possible meeting the people who you play with.

If you are a minor, we recommend that you consult your parents or guardians before filling in your profile.

How can I change my photo?

Access your Profile and tap on the Camera button to change your photo.

Remember that the new photo must be appropriate and respectful to other players and must be less than 10 MB.

How do I change my player name?

Right now it is not possible to change your player name. We hope to include this feature in PlayJoy soon. Thanks for your patience.

Chat

You can start a private chat with anyone:

  • From a player's profile
  • In-game. Move the game screen up, right or left to display the player's information and start a private chat.
  • In a chat room. Click on a player's photo to open his/her profile.

To avoid abuse, you can only start a private chat with a stranger from time to time. This only applies to new private chats created by you.

This limitation does not apply in the following cases:

  • The private chat already existed and you have had a conversation with that person.
  • Friends have no limitations to chat.
  • PlayJoy Club members are not limited to chatting.
  • There are no restrictions on chat channels or game chats.

To join a public chat channel and participate in the conversation, enter the channel and press Join chat.

To leave a chat channel:

  1. Open a channel
  2. Click on the 3-point menu on the top bar
  3. Leave the channel

To mute a chat channel:

  1. Open a channel
  2. Click on the 3-point menu on the top bar
  3. Mute channel

It is not possible to create private chat rooms yet. More options for managing the chat will be added soon. Thanks for your patience.

Settings / Frequent problems

Adjust the volume or disable the voices in the App Settings.

To change the application settings:

  1. Open the side menu by tapping on your photo in the top bar.
  2. Settings

You may be experiencing lag in your internet connection. This is a delay in the communication between your device and the game server. This delay can be unpleasant as the game or chat may take several seconds to respond.

If the waiting time is very high, the server can kick you out due to inactivity.

To improve the connection:

  1. Use a high-speed WiFi or wired connection (if you play on a computer).
  2. Move closer to the wireless router to improve the WiFi connection.
  3. If you play with your cell phone, make sure you have good coverage and avoid moving around.
  4. Your phone's Battery Saver mode may reduce gaming performance. Disable it for an optimal gaming experience.

Most games allow the player back to the game again immediately, in case of missing connection or phone call. Meanwhile, you will be replaced by a bot.

  • If you take too long to return to the game, you may not be able to continue playing.

The possible causes for losing connection while playing are diverse and complex as well as internet is. For example:

  1. The communication with the server is very slow (lag) and the server has kicked you out due to inactivity.
  2. Your connection has suffered an outage. This is common in slow or with poor coverage connections.
  3. Sometimes one of the servers may be down due to maintenance or technical problems. Wait a few minutes and press the reconnect button.

Log out from the Settings screen.

  1. Open the side menu by tapping on your photo in the top bar.
  2. Settings
  3. Log out

You can delete your account and remove all your data from the Settings screen.

iPhone/iPad

  1. Open the side menu by tapping on your photo in the top bar.
  2. Settings
  3. Delete account

Your account will be deleted after 30 days. In the meantime, if you log in again the process will be cancelled.
